			<description>Filing cabinets
Are you having trouble with your files? Do you often lose documents, receipts and pictures? Do your friends and family make fun of you because you are so unorganized?
Apparently, in 1898, a man by the name of Edwin Seibels thought of how he could improve life and organize his files. Back then, documents were kept in pigeon holes and folders. To save some more space, Seibels thought of coming up with a vertical drawer to store the files of the insurance company where he is working. The vertical file cabinet was then born. From then on filing cabinets have become a huge hit especially in many companies and business entities, where they need to keep and organize papers and documents. Another kind of filing cabinet is the lateral filing cabinet, which is basically wider and deeper than the vertical filing cabinet.
Filing cabinets can also be classified according to their material. Some filing cabinets are made of wood, some are made of metal, while the others are made of plastic.
Back then, filing cabinets were just used in the offices of the companies. But a furniture as versatile as this does not deserve to be kept in the office alone, does it? That is why most houses now also have filing cabinets. Filing cabinets have changed how people arrange their files and many other things in a good way. With the help of filing cabinets, whether the vertical or lateral type, you can locate your files, pictures, receipts and records without any trouble.

			<title>The New Definition of a Bookshelf</title>
			<link>http://storagefilecabinets.com/General/The-New-Definition-of-a-Bookshelf</link>
<description>The New Definition of a Bookshelf
Bookshelves, or bookcase, were primarily designed to be used as a storage space for books. The design of bookcases originated from shelves and cupboards where books were stored before.
After the creation of printing that significantly affected the costs of books, more and more people were given the opportunity to have their own copies of various books. As this happened, bookshelves evolved. The designs of various bookcases were concentrated on the space allocated for book storage and ease of access to books and spaces. Aside from the space they can offer, style was also taken as part of the considerations in designs and constructions of bookcases.
The evolution of these was also affected by the fast-paced changes in designs. The purpose of this fixture also became diverse. While large bookcases are for libraries and offices, smaller ones are for homes and used not only to store books but to fill the space and add a &amp;lsquo;smart&amp;rsquo; feel to the ambiance of a room.
Among the types of bookcases available, while every piece is useful, it is best to consider the following in finding the ideal bookcase.

Tall and wide bookcases are perfect for home libraries/offices.
Tall and slim bookshelves are ideal for compact spaces. It allows one to maximize the space allocated for it.
Short and wide bookshelves are best when they are intended to fill up some space.
Wide-spaced bookcases are great as a display stand for various decors and some entertainment pieces.

The purpose of bookshelves will be optimized when one knows exactly what to store or put on them.
